Rituals|Ritual Of Ayurveda Collection Review

Ritual of Ayurveda collection by Suyen Frazer

From time to time I love to switch my bad products and try something new. So when I received this Ritual’s line of products Ayurveda I decided to try them out and tell you guys about my experience.

Balanced living is the principle behind Ayurveda, the science of life. This ancient wisdom from India helps you to improve health and well-being by cleansing and nourishing your energy. The Ritual of Ayurveda has been carefully designed to support this philosophy.

To be honest, the rituals behind the products is not my main focus. Whenever I want to try a new Rituals product, I focus on the smell and ingredients. And I don’t connect on a ritual or emotional balance. I’m here pretty much for the products. I did do a previous review on The Sakura collection you can read it here.

The Ayurveda collection came in a luxurious package with the balancing body cream (200ml), rejuvenating pink salt scrub (125g), foaming shower gel (200ml), and mini home scent sticks. And additional too that a friend of mine gifted me the natural dry oil.

Balancing body cream, pink salt scrub from Rituals
Ayurveda Balancing Body Cream

There are two main ingredients that I want to focus on. Indian Rose and Himalaya Honey. In general, a rose stands for romantic, soft and positive feelings. So the aroma of this body cream really boosts up your feelings. Whenever I applied this to my body, I feel kind of feminine and sexy. And then the Himalaya Honey smooths and nourishing the skin. After using this my skin feels extremely soft and gentle. Another thing that is so great on this body cream is that you can buy a refill. Less package material, and good for the planet.

Pink salt Scrub

I love and I mean adore a body scrub. There is nothing more relaxing than taking a warm shower at night and scrubbing your body. I scrub my body 1 or 2 times a week. There are so many good benefits from scrubbing your body.

Essentially the benefits of using a body scrub are the removal of dead skin cells from the body and impurities, leaving you feeling fresh and your skin looking rejuvenated and revitalized. Exfoliating dead skin cells tend to remove the dull and lackluster appearance of the skin.

The Indian Rose is also one of the main ingredients, the pink salt, and sweet almond oil. The almond oil does it for me. My skin feels so soft and looks glowy after using this one. It leaves a thin layer of oil on my body. So I don’t have to use an additional body cream or lotion.

Foaming Shower Gel

We always have a Ritual shower gel in the house. My husband and son also love them. You need just a small amount of the shower gel. It foams up really quick and then you can apply it. This also leaves my skin silky, soft and nourished. After this, I applied the balancing cream. I think it’s important to use extra moisturizer after using soap. Cause soap can tent dry out your skin.

Natural dry oil

There are so many amazing oils in the natural dry oil. You need to warm the oil up in your hands and then massage it on. The touch of basil in this oil helps as an antioxidant while the blend of oils moisturizes your skin. This oil sits in my nightstand for easy access. On the nights when I’ve been stressed out my husband is so kind of given me a nice feet massage. I can’t explain to you, how much this is helping me to relax. The oil absorbs so well in your skin without feeling greasy. Like most of the body, oils do. I know that this oil can also be applied in your hair. I didn’t try this out yet. Simply because I have other oils for my hair. And I’m saving this one, for more body massages hahaha.

The Ritual’s home scent sticks are still closed. I didn’t try them out yet. Because I already have a few scent sticks open. When they are done I will open this one. Or give them away in Christmas gifts.

The Ayurveda luxurious collection package costs around €39,90 and is great to give away as a gift. But you can also buy all of the products separate. Take a look here to see the entire Ritual Ayurveda collection.
