The Ordinary products Skincare Bible

Are you also curious about the products of The Ordinary? Well that was also when I saw it everywhere on the internet. And of course I also wanted to try these highly acclaimed products. But when I came to the website to place my order, I was surprised. They really have so much in their range. I thought, dear, how overwhelming. If you have no or at least beauty knowledge, they make it difficult for you.

And to help you a bit on my way, I highlight a few of my favorite products from The Ordinary. I discuss what the product does exactly and which problem area it addresses. But also how you can best use and how often per week. Well I am bursting with energy and enthusiasm so let’s start soon.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (Buffet)

The Ordinary Buffet (Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5) is a water-based serum. You apply a serum after your facial cleansing routine and before using your day cream and/or oil. In addition to the acid, it also contains a percentage of the super ingredient vitamin C. This helps the skin to repair itself. This comes in handy if you suffer from hyperpigmentation or dark spots. Fortunately, I don’t have this much trouble myself. But I mainly use it because I am starting to get some problems with thin lines. It gives my skin a huge boost and helps strengthen it. I apply it in the morning and in the evening.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

This serum is ideal for somewhat oily skin. Because of 1% zinc mats the skin while 10% niacinamide increases the skin elasticity so that your pores become smaller. Niacinamide also has anti-inflammatory and calming properties, which comes in handy when you suffer from impurities. What you should also pay attention to is that you do not use Niacinamide in combination with vitamin c. This can lead to the widening of the blood vessels in the long term. This is especially not beneficial for people with rosacea or sensitive skin. Finally, use  The Ordinary Niacinamide on clean skin in the morning and evening.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA

Do you also want to use a peeling but you have sensitive skin, then this is for you.  The Ordinary Lactic acid is a mild peel that smoothes the skin with fewer irritations. And hyaluronic acid increases the moisture content, making the skin feel moisturized. Please note that you use sunscreen after this product because it can make the skin sensitive to the sun. Finally, use it in the evening on clean skin.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution
The Ordinary Aha 30% + BHA 2%

If you have sensitive skin first, this peeling is not for you. And milder peeling would suit you better. This peeling from The Ordinary removes dead skin and reduces fine lines. It can be a shock if you have just started using this peeling. It brings out all subcutaneous unevenness that makes you think it’s breaking out. But rest assured after this you will have radiant skin. Basically you use it as a mask on a dry face and neck. Leave it on for no longer than 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Use it a maximum of twice a week. Finally, it is good if you use a sunscreen because it contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and a beta hydroxy acid (BHA). And they can make the skin more sensitive to sun.
